Max G. Nochez
Intern Architect
As native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Max graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with both a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and a Master’s of Architecture. He has approximately 19 years experience in various fields of architecture, such as multi-family, commercial, institutional, hospitality, space planning, and master planning. His project management experience ranges in projects covering the southeast region in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, and also in Colorado. His main focus, interest and over 11 years of experience is in multi-family and mixed-use projects, as well as new methods of design to help improve walkable communities.
At Planworx, Max has been collaborating with other managers and technicians to develop BIM/CAD firm standards, such as a standard detail library and Revit families. He is currently in progress of working on his licensure exams.
Max and his family moved from Austin, Texas to Chapel Hill, North Carolina in 2023 to be closer to family and join Planworx. With his wife Margarita and his two daughters, Penelope and Luna, he enjoys taking his family hiking, to the beach and other outdoor adventures. His hobbies include watching NFL, Formula 1, playing soccer, cycling, and mountain biking to name a few.
